The Vermont Village School is working to reimagine our relationship to capitalism. We have found an abundance of supplies, spaces, and guest villagers who can support the Village outside of capitalism. At this time, money is still a tool for change that we use to pay educators so they can meet those basic needs that require money, rent a classroom, buy insurance, and purchase some of our supplies. Our Minimum Engagement with Capitalism is about $55,000 per school year.

As a start-up school, monetary donations can liberate us to dream big, take risks, and offer an affordable program to more families who need alternatives. $45 covers one villager’s tuition for one day, so donations of any size make an important impact. All tuition payments and donations can be made through the link below. For other types of donations (time, space, food, energy), please reach out to us by email.
